So what does grim protect himself from the polar bears with while you're shopping with the gun?
Nicole Anderson28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Yup same prices as the US!
Shenanigans28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
It’s hilarious that you bought a cheese slicer: when we visited Norway in 2020 esch of the three holiday apartments we stayed at has two cheese slicers each, so we decided it was a mandatory tax in Norway. Every apartment needs two cheese slicers, along with your rifle and skis. Perhaps on Svalbard you‘re allowed to just have one.

Looks the same price as down here in Trondheim!
Matt Traven28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
prices really didn't seem too bad given how remote you are.

Pasture raised eggs are 799, in Southern California.

Why cant you bring guns into the supermarket? You’re all walking around with them outside anyway so what’s the difference? Genuinely curious.
Tabitha Sparklebright28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
If you worry enough about polar bears to carry firearms, is it safe to leave Grim outside? Genuine question
Casey Jones28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
This is most likely subsidized by governments, that's why it's affordable
Gypsy Glitter28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
If I need to carry a gun for polar bears, rest assured I'm not leaving my dog outside! 😳
Kana G28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Do you have any stock pantry? Like 3 months. I feel scared imagining if there's suddenly no stock on supermarket
alexholly28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Your eggs are cheaper than ours in New Zealand 😢 and there are literally chickens next door 😩
Cosmic Muffin28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM

My-ChEmiCaL-RoMaNcE28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM

Louise Franks Art28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Our grocery shop usually costs £125 a week for 2 of us in UK and I felt that was more that I'd like to pay LOL. It used to be just under £100, but those days are gone now 🙁

I’ve loved Wasa “crackers” for as long as I can remember. I put some cream cheese on them, cucumber slices and started putting everything bagel seasoning on there when that became a thing 👌 10/10
Liliane van Frankrijk28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Omg, cheaper than Switzerland. And a better selection.
sistertenacious28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Are there ever polar bears that come around outside the grocery store?
A L28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM

Dan28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM

Anne Davis28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
Prices are comparable …the most I've paid for eggs in the last few months was 4.89 for 18. They are a little less now, they say it was chicken flu that kept prices up… You have a great selection🙋🏽♀️
KimchiNinja28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
I think here in NJ it's more expensive!
Denise Pappalardo28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
I live in California and actually I think your prices are very comparable to prices in the US! Some things you bought cost more here than Longyearbyen.
Evyn J28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
We live in a " Lower cost of living " area in the US and are prices are way higher. Eggs are $8 a dozen and still rising. Some people are paying over $12 a dozen on eggs in the states. An item that use to be fairly cheap. Prices rise almost weekly and have for years. It cost a fortune for us to get groceries.
Jon Kiyosaki28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM
None of what she bought was nutritious or good for the stomach 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Cj28/03/2023 at 3:31 AM

These prices are better than where i live. However, that's nothing new to me – it's always been that way.
Love that everyone walks around walks around with firearms. Everyone is so responsible. 💖
