Make sure you know the laws and rules of thailand before marrying one or even getting into a relationship with one. Since the creation of social media arrived at thailand, its all different then 10-20 years ago. And the laws and rules have change to benefit locals more then foreign-born. I seen plenty of western dudes make this mistake of falling in love with thai girls too fast and they end up getting cheated, scam, robbed. Thai girls are GOOD at playing with love emotions. Beware. It happens a lot at major western cities like Bangkok, Pattaya.

The issue is much more complicated that. The first question is what are you looking for,what age ? As far as looks from 1 to 10 what are your expectations, how much you are willing to invest in time, money, and learning the language and adopt the culture. As far as Thai ladies are concerned, they are the most polite , and very respectful. They get that way from childhood, from family culture and traditions. Thai mothers and Grandmothers are worshipped like God and there is nothing more important.
Learn about their culture, their language. I am single I have been all over the world , but I love the Thai people more than any other. They are honest and good people. Most of the Thai ladies have a limited knowledge about Europe and America, History and geography. That is NOT because they are not intelligent, but the education here cost a lot of money, and most can not afford it. All this information does NOT apply to Bar girls, where the owners are foreigners and young ladies are trained with different rules on how to deceive and get money. Be nice , be decent , and you will find your match. But one thing women around the world hate : a stingy and frugal man, in Thai Kinyaou
