First of all, I want to congratulate you on your beautiful vlogs! I salute you and your wife for raising 3 fabulous kids… I really love all of your vlogs and waiting for more of your vlogs. I watched your vlog in Indonesia when your wife got injured and you and your family cut your trip for your wife to avail her medical care. Praying that she will be okay. By the way, I'm a Filipino and I'm a registered nurse in the State of Kuwait. I you need anything at all like advice medically. I will do my best to give information and advice you need. God bless!
Cannot wait for the Mexico City street food tour videos whenever you guys get the chance! <3
I dont skip ads for your cute Son and Daughter โค๏ธ
Love how both of you are great parents and educators. Your kids are adventurous, curious and appreciative. It's not easy being out in the hot weather for a long time but they take it in their stride and follow your lead. Thank you for exploring Singapore and one of the well-loved food centres here.
Not clam, its cockles.
Fried Zha Guo Tiao has cockerels, Chinese sausages and some with prawns fried with eggs and noodles with flat rice noodles together with eggs.
Char siu?
The youngest child is always the picky one when it comes to food๐คฃ I was going to talk about the tray but I see people have already spoken.
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in my home country. Thank you for sharing with us your wonderful vlog and family adventures!
yall should use spoons to hold the noodles after using the chopsticks
Loving the videos. Only just subscribed. Peace from the uk
Hi, Great to see u and family exploring our heartlands hawker centres. U should try our economic rice mixed veg stalls. U order rice and the dishes which for rice plus 1 meat & 2 veg would be in the region of S$3.50 to S$4.00. Do note that a pc of fried fish would cost u about S$4. Also when ordering veg do check if there are mince pork or diced chicken in them the charges are more expensive than pure stir fry veg.
You can request for empty bowls from the stall owner to scoop portions and share. Extra utensils are available at each stall too
the tray dirty dun put on tray
i love your video…very detail and perfect.
to all who says trays are dirty… listen from my experience in philippines… ive been to a totally clean thai resturant in makati gotten sick first time there… where i went to a barangay in philippines n ate at a spot where ground floor was the eatery and they lived up stairs n wasnt clean n never gotten sick once.. n i ate there like 20 times.. n the owner even asked me to come upstairs to give her a mixed kid for christ sakes (no i didnt do that) but ya back in 09 bbq satay sticks were 25 cents a piece back then…
ya its not condemned to eat the meat on a tray thing but they didnt wash their hands… kids that eat boogers gets immunity from such things… and these were all things proven b4 covid… goodness… no wonder yall get sick so easily ur so scared of unsanitary things…. i am a nail biter… and whats has the most bacteria? under ur nails… i never get sick… so dont fret so much!
moral of the story the father knows what he is doing!
Hello. I enjoyed your video. But probably I will suggest that you avoid placing the food directly on the trays. As oftenly the tray might not be cleaned enough. I suggest that it will be better to place the food on the plate or bowl to let your kids to eat. Thank you for promoting Singapore food.๐

Firstly, thank you for your patient wait while my shop re-opened after a break. We appreciate your decision to choose us among the many other options available for your experience. Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you, Phแป Me, and we hope you have a delightful exploration in Singapore.
We look forward to the opportunity of serving your family once more โค.
The hawker culture is, if you see a long queue at a stall especially during lunch time, thatโs where you have to join cause thatโs the validation of how popular/tasty the dishes are..but ofc do that only when u have time to spare๐โค
When someone in Singapore gave you a recommendation, first thing you gotta do is put it in the list cause you wont regret it๐
Needed to correct your pronunciation, it's Char Siu (as in Shoo) Not Char "Shewy"
Btw how come you guys decide to take the bus than to take MRT. Dakota MRT station just a walking distance to the hawker centre. But maybe bus ride can enjoy the scenery's around better. Guess so๐
I freaked out a bit when you placed the beef on the tray. Try not to do that because you never know if they cleaned the tray properly in hawker centres.
lovely family!! always appreciate your elder son and daughter for trying every food!! definitely not picky eater like kids nowadays ><
Amazing how you can juggle recording the video while looking out for your 3 kids at the same time!
Nice.Thankyou
I traveled all Eastern European & west Asia & Central America. U face good & bad. Western Europe 2nd time .
Think about it visit srilanka Since I left from srilanka never return
Anyway enjoy your journey
Welcome back!
Grew up around the area and bought food from that hawker centre in the 70s….
Horrified to see you putting the beef on the tray at the hawker
Dude.. love your video. But the trays are generally dirty.. dont leave your food on it pls
almost everything had peanut flavour ๐
The Old Airport Road Food Centre is one of the oldest in Singapore, popular with the locals. You were lucky that you were there during the day. It gets crowded during dinnertime.. And it gets crazy on weekends when you will likely spend more time looking for seats and/or standing in line to place an order for food. Glad that you enjoyed your meals .
Hah… you just miss the very nice beef hor fun (flat rice noddle) just next door to teh JJ noodles you got ๐ Maybe next time.
What I like to eat at a hawker or food court is mala and knife cut noodles ๐
Living abroad, you make me miss Singapore food so much. Canโt wait to go home!
It was really fun watching you guys enjoy our local food! I must say, you've picked all my favorites in one sitting. Bravo!
big big big big big big big house you have
You can actually request a small bowl to share with your kids. Enjoy.
Its actually easier to use your credit card on public transport. You tap it instead of the EZLink card. But i guess because you have kids, credit cardโs less practical unless you are gonna pass one credit card to each kid ๐
And BTW its char siew not char siewee ๐คฃ
Don't put food on the tray. It's not very clean. Can ask for extra bowls.
Great to watch your video.
Hi Guys, facts to take note. Singapore tap water follow the World Health Organisation(WHO) guidelines so is very safe to drink.
As with any serviced apartment may not been used for awhile, do need to let the tap water flow for a few minutes before consuming.
2nd facts all singapore hawker centre are free sitting so you can sit anywhere in the hawker centre (provided table & sests). Curtural difference do note when asked "Having here or Take away " means you want to eat in the general hawker centre area or pack in container to go. Is not just refering to having the food infront of the food store only…๐
Try bringing your children to the shopping centre food court (aircon), i.e. Koufu / Kopitiam /Food Republic. Price is only at most 20% higher than the non-aircon food places that you have visited.
