Western problem will be traffic and human being.
You can take precaution on road safety together with food. But you can't take control on human being. I freak out more on travel to southern eu and america rather than south east asian country tbh.

The biggest advantage of Malaysia is the cultural differences among races, traditions, religions, belief systems. However, as Malaysians, we can be proud of our differences and united by universal values. We accept that multiple races live in harmony as one extended family. We are welcome you return to Malaysia perhaps make this land as your digital nomad hub to others countries in South east Asia and South Asia.
Malaysians gonna missed you guys, your list missed out few nice islands, ex, Tioman, Redang, Perhentian, port Dickson, Frazer Hill, Ipoh caves, so on so on.

You should come to east coast peninsular.. lots of attractive places here like National Park in Pahang, beautiful beaches in Terengganu
