I'm from Ottawa and always leave from Montreal for European trip. Many of my trips are cycling adventures and travel with a bike. Going to Montreal gives you more direct flights which reduces the chance of loosing my bike. Based on your advice, I will book my April Barcelona trip now.
But amazing details. Thanks for that
Or 2X sometimes. Again just saying.
Your normal speed is at 1.75. just saying
I found really cheap tickets – I just stopped flying. I do all my business on the internet now and take staycations. Fk these gouging corporations!
Are you a robot ?
I am moving back home to Oregon from Texas and finding not only a flight home but a ride to the airport is hard. Especially when it is an early morning flight. I was looking at flights and saw one for 119 that wasn't the best with a layover and in basic economy, but it was cheap! I couldn't financially swing it due to my circumstances but 2 days later I spent 50 bucks more got upgraded to main cabin instead of basic and scored a non-stop flight. The 2 sucky things are transportation to the airport is going to be hard to arrange for that day and it is on an airline I don't really like but that airline is also selling their tickets for basic for the price I got main! (I booked through American, but it is an Alaska air ran flight. Due to them being part of the same alliance thing?) I'm excited to see my family though!
LOLLLLLLLLL cheap flights don't exist in 2023!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What if you are traveling in January
Great video! Simple yet effective ways to save on flights!
I was able to do that with finally going to Portland, ME. RT for only $226 (taxes included)… jumped so quick on it. Came across my email last June and I booked it for this past October.
I think evrybody under 90 kg should be allowed to bring lugage for free, 140 people dont pay any extra, and if enough people talk about and tell to companies that it could be something normal
Really good tips!
I am a travel agent and canโt tell u how often I repeat these exact tips!
In addition, airport taxes are part of ur airfare and they can vary alot so be sure to watch out @ the bigger airports.
Also, u get a better fare if u book from the country of ur departure.
Heaven understands my worth and directed me to have the life I've lived.
Why you must pay extra for few kg luggage but people people with 60 kg overweight pay same price?
24 hour window only applies to flights bought directly from an airline.
Thumbs up ๐
Thanks for these great tips! Yes indeed, especially with booking flight tickets way in advance and booking instantly the moment a good deal appears. ๐
Biggest surprise? That 24-hr free cancellation hack.
Back in January 2020 I saved a mess of money on a flight to Singapore by going out of LAX instead of Las Vegas. I took a cheap Southwest flight from LAS to LAX. I had to collect my bags and check in again, but it was about $1000 difference.
I'm currently expanding my search for my August trip to Europe to include LAX and SFO as well as LAS. I looked at that last year, but then called my cruise company for their airfare price. Turns out, I got a ticket that was cheaper, had better departure times, and better arrival times than what I'd been looking at.
planning a trip to Disney world in Jan 2024, Should i start looking in june/ July as you said the best time to start looking is January
If the flight price drops after you purchase, do you buy the new cheaper ticket first then cancel the old ticket?
Another great video. Great subject matter and well edited.
I just booked a great deal for May. We were going to fly into Frankfurt but found flights into Brussels that cost $400 less. We calculated the car rental costs and hotel costs and it was worth booking the flight to brussels
While everyone is going south for spring break we have decided to drive to Montreal and Quebec City. What would you suggest seeing, doing, eating etc. Also I know Ottawa is the capital but anything we might miss if we donโt visit your city? Thanks in advance. I was hoping flight prices might flatten out but really knew the prices would just increase. Your video just confirms my thoughts exactly. Keep up the excellent content!
I live in Durango CO and flights to Denver cost a pretty penny as United has a monopoly on this route. However flying DRO to DEN as a connecting flight only costs 50-100 extra vs flying out of Denver!

Love this channel
Thanks for all the great information you share.
I saved $800 with trip insurance by booking 9 months ahead. And got a far better direct flight with a single carrier by taking a short separate flight from my local airport to the main international hub. It seems odd to book two separate flights to save, but I got a far better seat and a much shorter travel time along with multiple other perks for far less money than booking out of the local airport.
I just booked New Orleans to Las Vegas round trip for $77 for the end of February,I'm consistently looking up Google flights, you. Always offer great advice, Megan.
